Flying?

The weather hasn't been great here yet so I haven't flown. But I do have a Combat Wings XE2 that needs to be maidened. And to get myself back in the groove I've busted out and modded my old Hitec Sky Scooter to get my thumbs in line. I've been putting time in on the simulator so I'm just waiting for decent flying weather.

Weather has been real screwed up here too. 40 degrees yesterday.

Guess I should spend a little time on the sim. Got an older one and it won't work on this computer.

Been out to the field once. Just to check them out. Some of those guys are pretty hardcore flyers. Wind was kicking and there were about 4 flying.
Haven't paid my club dues, but still in the AMA.

After the weather gets right and the thumbs start getting loosened up, the winter projects start coming out.

E-Flite Blade CP during the day, CX with LED lights at night.

OK. With the CP I've been doing more crashing than flying. But the last 10 packs I've done fig. 8's, nose-in hovers, no crashes yet, luck may hold out. :D

I'm flying & racing......hard to juggle both hobies.......i build & fly moastly german warplanes with weadeater engines in them.......i also fly a twist with an os46 which is really toutchy on the controls but this plane can be flown slow or fast and is very acrobatic........

Good luck Bill. The more you fly, the easier it gets.

Speedticket, what era German planes?
I have a Balsa USA Eindecker with a Saito .91. Also have their Bristol M1, but haven't finished it.
Do any building from plans?
