I have been looking at trucks here and there and settled on a nissan titan. I like the styling, and i drove one monday, and like the way it drives and feels. I want the crew cab 2wd one, fully loaded.

i found one (the one i drove monday) for a great price so I'm tring like crazy to get it, but having trouble selling my car.

the one i found is an 06 titan le with leather, power everything, sunroof, fosgate sound system, utilitrack, and tow package. its about 5k cheeper then it should be, because it has a few dings and stuff from being a truck.

does anyone own or have owned a titan?? opinions? thoughts?

i have driven a titan on many many occasions and it has been a real nice truck to drive. its an import so its gonna last, it or a tundra will last you along ass time imo while getting pretty good mileage and having all the little stuff stay intact unlike the domestics imo....i wouldnt think twice about a nissan or toyota pickup.

i prefer the tundra styling over the titan. Actually, i'm not a fan of any nissan other than the 350Z

i haven't driven or ridden in a titan so thats about all the info i can provide. :)

Don't buy a chevy crew cab with the 6.0 V8 in it tho. Thats what my company truck is and with a 25 gallon gas tank, i am lucky to see over 300 miles a tank. It is a super comfortable ride tho.

I used to own a Nissan Hardbody pickup truck, and while I loved the styling and accessories it had...the motor was a complete DOG. Granted it was a V6....and the Titans are not.....that's about all the input I have on the Nissan truck line.

I now own an 05 Toyota Tacoma TRD and this motor is POWERFUL for a 4.0L. I could probably pull my house off it's foundation. The Tundra is it's big brother and I test drove those as well. VERY VERY VERY nice trucks. Personally I prefer Toyota, but I have limited experience with the new Nissans myself.

As long as you've done your research....you'll be happy with whatever truck you choose.

My brother owns an 06 Titan quad cab. Other than it being a severe gas guzzler he loves it. He mostly uses it to tow his boat since the fuel economy is too low to daily drive it. He's had zero issues with it.

good choice

i used to work at a local lube shop in my home town, and i got to get aquainted with the titan pretty well, and we had regular customers who drove them and got their oil changed at my shop every time, i was the lower bay tech at this shop, and just let me say that the nissan titan is a really sound truck, they seem to hold up really well mind you that the guys coming in to the shop, lots of them construction workers, i would ask them their opinion from time to time, and they were all very pleased to own a titan. very easy to service and the suspension on those trucks provides a really nice ride in the cab. I would say go for it all the way you just wont be dissapointed. personaly i am a subaru junkie i love my 86 GL wagon to pieces!!! 312000 miles and still going strong on the same engine. my subaru is lifted with a 5 speed dual range transmission. of course i dont have the luxury of a truck bed, but i only need a truck maybe 1 time per year, so ill stick with my mileage getting 1.8 litre lifted wagon!

I went from a 94 ford that i owned for 7 years to this 86 subaru that my dad gave me when i had to sell my truck. yeah it was sad to see the beast go but i love my subaru
