I am about to install the motor. I'll be careful to setup the lash correctly.
I screwed around with the elctronics box enough. In fact, I fried the cheap battery that I bought online. (I cut the leads to shove them thru the hole in the box, and the leads were shorted for a while... now it won't hold a charge). I went to my LHS and bought a Trinity hump pack- much lighter, and the 12V charger I bought will charge the pack in a max of 45 mins. Pretty nice. The only thing it lacked was a charging lead, so since I already had a hole in the electronics box, I spliced into the leads on the hump pack. Everything is buttoned up now. Now I need to figure out how to fine tune the servo's/linkages. Engine install should be this weekend, if time permits.
