So I got my lrp installed and its very tight, should i put a few drop of after run oil in it on top of using a hair dryer? ( ihave a heat gun but i dont want to use it and weaken the spring holding the manifold on)

where and how long should i leave the hairdryer on?

Oh one more question, more of a request. The engine is a LRP z .28 spec 3
If anyone has had a few of these or is just really good at tuning, would be willing to help me one on one via phone, i really dont want to damage this engine

if anyone would be kind enough to do that to help me i will be eternally grateful :)

i would reccomend using the heat gun on it..the heat gun will not melt or weaken your manifold spring...just use the heat gun on the cylinder and the head areas. let it get really warm. i used a hair dryer on my jpx .28 which has a rediculous amount of pinch when new, got the head up to 155 degrees. and it made starting a bit easier on my bump box. just get it to thwere your motor is near the 150's or more and you should be in good shape to attempt starting
