Hiya today I went to an auction with a friend for the first time today. Anyway looked around then seen a 26cc leaf grass blower, vac and shreader. It was untested but a good make McCulloch which are £170 brand new this model. The bidding was going and went to £7 just before you hammer went down I bidded to £8 and won it. I got it for £9 including vat in the end cheap enough for parts or spares if it dont work.

Anyway got it home cleaned it up. Pulled the starter it had good compression a good sign. Took the spark plug out cleaned it up with a good spark showing even better. Cleaned the fuel filter and air filter out and butter fly on the carb. I then Empty the old fuel out and replaced with new fuel. Pulled the starter once and it started first time and runs like new all for £9 what a bargain for my first go in a auction!

It comes complete with all the parts which is anther bonus.

If you don't mind waiting around for the items you want, sometimes you can score a nice deal. Sometimes you wait for nothing and some idiot pays more than new for it.

Looks like a good deal to me - congrats.

so... how long before you rip it apart and build a fuelie with the engine?
