not sure if i can post pics or not...but i have had this t-maxx 2.5 for about 2 months now... It's my first nitro vehicle...as i used to be into this hobby about 8 or 10 years ago when i had a doubleX and a XXT from losi...

i made the mistake of picking up an rcca mag and i had to get a maxx...

so...now...quite over a grand later...i have a pretty damn nice maxx with all the upgrades i think i could need for now...

RPM all 4 corners...need to get the knuckles still
POWERSTROKE SHOCKS (not many have em...but they are well WELL worth it)
MIP cvd all around...
RPM shock towers..
aluminum skids front and back..and extended center
aluminum braces..
aluminum bumper and braces
al batt case
HS645 servo steering
new front diff
motosaver air filter
fuel filter
fail safe
mutant cooling head
RPM head protector
maxx mulcher rubber
road rage 40 rubber
spinners
several rims
steel rrp spur
integy bulks
al bulk braces
hexheads screw set
aluminum servo skid
aluminum bellcrank
tuned exhaust pipe
titanium rods
MIP onboard temp guage

might be some stuff i forgot...

i have since plasti-dipped the rec. and all the servos..

any upgrades, (or downgrades) you would make to improve this setup??

i race and bash pretty much eaqually...

i keep telling myself to stop wasting my money, but things break...and if they dont...i still find something to buy... :)

guess ill try to link a pic..

this was taken before a few upgrades were attached..and before a good cleaning..

(EDIT) WOW...now those are som file size limits...wtf??

anyone know how to make my pics worth looking at...480x480...wth?

Sounds like a sweet Maxx.. I dont think there much more you need for it... lol
I would start saving up some cash for an 1/8th scale buggy... Once you start messin with the buggies, youl'll be hooked... Insane speed, & handling...

BTW... Welcome to RCNT...

Take your original pic, & resize it to 640x480...

Deff a nice maxx. Looks like you have all the basics covered. maybe a Sirio .23 in the future :)

or as ImBroke said time for a 1/8th Scale buggy. Thats what i want to move onto. :)

Also if you need a place to host full size images and then link em on here , Check out this place

awwwww...come on guys...dont tell me thats what the hot sh*t is....

i was thnking of a revo, or really an LST or savage...something to really bash...
but now I've seen all these vids of buggies raging..and i must admit,..I'm quite interested..

what would one run me RTR without radio gear....a GOOD one

regarding the maxx...i dont see an engine upgrade TOO soon ;)

but it's possible...i am possibly willing to buy a buggy soon...looks like they might even break less... is that possible???

ill also post more pics as soon as i can....any NC Raleigh area nitro offroad ragers around??

thanks for the welcome and see you guys often hopefully

something to really bash? Bash with the maxx. I launch mine off tripples, table tops, doubles etc. off my motocross track in my back fields. Over the garage, into the garage trying to go over it. Into the fence tryin to clear it.

man my old maxx has been through some rough times.

now that I just got a All Aluminum Maxx , I'm almost affraid to try for Over the garage with it. I bend a Alum A-Arm I'm done for. If I do bend em I think I'll put some RPM arms back on it. You can't beat RPMs warrenty.

heres a Dirty pic of my maxx for ya.

is that an rc solutions roll cage???

i need one ASAP...because of the mutant head...i broke an engine mount yesterday because i hit the head on a horrible landing...

my only problem with getting ahold of one is that i sorta need it shipped COD...all i got is cash :( and i can't wait to mail a money order and all that crap...

wow....after looking at that forums and particularly the buggy recommendations thread....those things sure arent cheap...

i would want a decently durable and fast buggy with an engine and no electronics...but pretty much everything else...besides nitro stuff...i got that..

theres no way i could get something like that for around 350 is there...i would be willing to pay more for a truck...because it seems like you get much more for the $...

of course...the fact that I've dropped mad loot into this maxx sorta cancels out that last statement... :hammer:

yes a RC Solutions cage..

I agree buggys arnt cheap but I still plan to get one. I had over 1200 into my last maxx. I think after I put shocks and a sirio .23 on this maxx Its done. and time to move onto a nice buggy..

heres a pic of the track i made in my backyard

all i had to do was rake a bit and added a tiny bit of dirt...more work to do for sure,..but it works great for now...and its smalll...so practicing here makes a normal track almost a joke for me ;)

lets see if this pic works....

ok...WELL NEVERMIND.>>ITS NOT GONNA WORK AT THIS SIZE...f8ck it

Your always welcome to Ohio..

hahah...i dont consider bashing a good reason to travel cross coutry ;)

well.......

Nice truck and track, Maxxslinger.

One thing I like about SoCal is that the desert is close by and there are thousands of miles of open land to race on with my buddies. Some of it is used by dirt bikers so there are really sweet berms already there when you pull up. Some are 5-6' tall! And no mud.

You were talking about a buggy or a Revo. Try the Revo. It really rides somewhat like a fat tired buggy. I have a Revo and T-Maxx. I plan to get a full race ready buggy next, and I am considering the new OFNA Ultra or the MP9, or maybe even a Mugen MBX5.
