I got a traxxas nitro rustler 2wd for my son and I'm new to the Rc world. I bought it used, and it needs some work. It came with aluminum shock towers control arms spindles and new shocks. I'm trying to figure out how to swap all these parts out due too both shock towers being broke and shocks. I got the whole front end off but trying to figure out rear shock tower. I'm thinking the shock tower he gave me was not for the nitro rustler. maybe for the battery one ?

Welcone to the site. The rear should have 4 screws behind the battery box. Post pics and we can identify them. I jave around 20 traxxas cars. 🙃

Traxxas also jas exploded views if needed.

Welcome to RCTALK.COM!!!
This nitro Rustler, its a fun and fast car. Be sure to supervise younger kids with nitro to avoid burns etc too.
The aluminum parts you have prob aren't a great idea for new drivers anyways.
Aluminum bends and breaks, plastic flexes. Aluminum is more likely to transfer damage (energy) from an impact, deeper into the car. Some of it might be stock too.. you'd need to look into that. You csn look at a manual or compare stock parts online.😉
They sure do look pretty up til the crash though! Thats for sure!
Jennys rc had some parts for the nitro Rustler not very long ago. Might be worth a look for cheap, stock parts. 👍
