I got my first Heli today, an E-Sky Co-Co Lama. Hven't really crashed yet but have had a couple of hard landings that tore up one blade and popped off the flybar. My only major issue is trim, I'm not sure if I need to check my battery charge or if something is out of adjustment. My trim settings keep needing to be changed after every landing (Yes, I have had some sucessful ones). My best hover has been 45 sec, I'll claim hover because I kept control for the most part. It's frustrating as hell but I love it.:celebrate:

Nice ....hang in there.

I sold my heli awhile back as I could not afford to support the pilots crash ratio...;)

But My hat is off to those who brave the air with rotar power.

Pics?

Vids??

I'll try to work on pics after my wife gets home, I'm not anywhere near one handed flying. lol

Congrats man, I agree they are frustrating but they are very addictive!

I have to agree, something is still amiss. The Llama is a coaxial, meaning if set up right, you should be able to lift off and let go of the sticks and with no wind currents it should just hang there, maybe turn a little as the yaw is pretty much impossible to stop completely.

The solution here is to fiddle with the trims, lift it off and *try* to let go of the sticks. If it moves forward, shift the battery back (or the opposite.) If it moves left or right, fiddle with the trim.

I've got it under control for the most part, at least I thought I did. See the Lama thread, it will explain. lol
