I'm looking to buy my first nitro car (my other thread was created but the next day my actual car broke down so I had no money LOL)...

So now i'm looking to buy something off http://www.greathobbies.com/ because it is local to me.

Looking to spend about 250-300$ on one... but I need to include everything I need to get started.

I'm preferably going to only drive it on my street, i don't care about noise

I want something that will last me a while (in terms of it being reliable and upgrade the kit later on)

thanks :D

I would NOT recommend a Jato as a first nitro RC. A Traxxas Nitro Sport or Nitro Rustler would be a better option than the Jato. The Jato is too fragile for the speed it can attain IMO.

++1 on the nitro sport or the rustler the rustler has better steering both tough as nails, parts are dirt cheap, and easy to upgrade

Okay cool I'll pick one up off either eBay or great hobby. Thanks guys
