If your only looking to Bash and drive in higher grass the Savage 4.6 will eat up the Revo. The Revo should really be in a stadium truck class. The Revo is a better racer. When you talk to guys who actually race a Revo like at our local track. They will say race the Revo and bash a Savage. I own a Savage and it's great for bashing but if I race, I will buy a Revo.

SAVAGE BIG STRONG UGGHH...HANDLES LIKE BRICK ON WHEELS....STRONG NOT BREAK EASY.....FIX CHEAP...

The Revo is very refined and elegant showing many advanced design features in both the suspension and drive train... IMO if you were to contemplate racing ever the Revo would definately suit your needs more....If you want to be a brute and beat the living crap out of your MT then get the SAVAGE it is one helluva beast...

thinking of getting a savage and when it starts to feel slow put a picco .26 in it or colari .30

have best of both worlds...

I'm sure if i upgrade the shock towers and arms on the Revo i could bash it just as well as the savage though.

but I'm pretty certain I'm set on the Savage.

MY :2CENTS: i LOVE MY SAVAGE SS AND I HAVE YET TO BREAK ANYTHING ON IT, IT JUST GOES AND GOES, STAY AWAY FROM 1/10 SCALE CARS,THE BIG BLOCK ENGINES HAVE SO MUCH MORE LOW END ITS UNBELIEVABLE I LOVE IT, I AM SERWOUSLY CONSIDERING A REVO NOW OVER A BUGGY AFTER SEEING THAT THEY HANDLE SO WELL BUT THE PISSY LITTLE ENGINE REALLY TURNS ME OFF, WHERE AS A BUGGY HAS A BIG BLOCK,( I KNOW CONVERSION KITS AND SO ON BLAH BLAH BLAH) I DON'T WANT THE HASSLE AND EXPENDITURE OF TRYING TO DO A BB CONVERSION, SO I GUESS I'M IN THE SAME CLASS AS YOU ON WHAT TO GET, BUT I DO LIKE THE BIG BLOCK OF THE SAVAGE GOOD LUCK ON YOUR CHOICE
YOU COULD ALWAYS COMPROMISE AND JUST GET THEM BOTH
