Ok all, my friend luke, has £300 budget for a brushless offroad rc. it has to be 4wd, and has to be under £275 if it doesn't come with batteries or a charger. it will be his first brushless rc, and has to be a decent one. he has driven my 1/8th nitro buggy a few times, and can control it well. can you please recommend a decent BRUSHLESS RC CAR 4WD under £300.
Thanks guys.:)

There isn't many options for a 4x4 under $300. The Traxxas 1/16 vehicles are bad to the bone.

$300 is less than 300 pounds in the UK. Last I checked the pound was way stronger.

tell your friend to look at the Traxxas Slash 4x4. They are 4wd, brushless, come with a batter and charger and transmitter. Ready to race out of the box once the battery is charged.

That's the one I also recommended it Runs about 270 (pounds not dollars).

You might as well include the price of a quality charger and second battery in the price of a merv or mini slash. Who want's to wait 8 hours for a battery to charge? Traxxas should be smacked for including such a crappy charger. Chargers won't break the bank though. $30 will get ya a decent charger.
