Now that my car is broken in, I can open it up a bit.
I took it out a couple of times this weekend. I couldn't resist hitting the snow bank a couple of times, producing some awsome jumps.
The only thing I dont like are the clips that hold my body on. Now that I have made my body cutouts, I wanna keep my body on at all times. The body mounts are these plastic 3/16" round nubs that poke through. You then stretch these codder pins around the post and that holds the body on.
However, the first time you catch some air and land the thing on it's roof, you find yourself digging in the snow for the four plastic washers and the four codder pins that popped off in the crash.
I was thinking to myself, if the stupid body mounts had holes drilled in them, I could put the codder pins through the holes. Then, the pins would never fall off. The mounts, however, are just too small for this. They are not thick enough.
Has anyone had this problem with their body? Is there a solution?
