First '05 RCNT bash

LOL...the ECB in Buffalo is not the only RCNT Bash. The HR Bash (both of them) were RCNT Bashes. We'll try and set one up again this year, if my schedule allows such a thing.

As for a Florida Bash, I'd be game for that...again, if my schedule permitted. I know the wife and kids would love a trip to Orlando.

I think it is a bit early in the year to start getting on each other about where a particular bash should be. I do know that our membership has grown substantially, and that the bashes we host attract new members. Perhaps we should host a few of them and call them regional bashes to allow regional members to attend. I'd be willing to bet that the Southeast has quite a following. We'd just need to get it organized and publicized.

If my military schedule allows me enough time on dry land near home, I intend to get one going. El Pirata (while not very visible for much the same reason my presence has dwindled) and I will work one up in our area. I know he was still interested in a road trip at some point; so, we'll see what we can do about visiting Florida.

I would be down for a FL bash. I usually take a trip down to Daytona Beach every year anyway, during the summer. So Orlando would be a very short ride for me from there. I would like to check out that track there. NCNitro, Got any pics or links to it?

My point exactly, lol. Like I said, I just dont want to see all emphasis and support put behind just the buffalo bash. I had, what I tried to make a RCNT bash in Orlando. I wasn't evenable to get the banner from another staff member even after repeated attempts on my part with several months notice. I just feel the only bash that has been strongly supported was the buffalo bash. I would really like to see all our members be able to make it to a big, well planned, RCNT bash, with as much staff support as possible. I think the regional thing sounds great. I would definately be up for a trip to Virginia, I really miss that region (pun intended, lol). Not trying to be a peepee, just tellin it like I feel.

BTW I'm glad to see you on, at least while you can be.

I think regional is what happened last year. Buffalo was not the only place that had a bash. Even though I am from Buffalo, I just went to a track around the corner from where I lived and asked to rent it on Friday and Saturday.
I then gave the info to Christian(which he is from Buffalo too) This years Buffalo bash, if my track is done, I'm going to see if we can spend a few hours on my track and some jumps I'm going to make. I think it should be everyone's responsibility to form a RCNT Bash in there own region.
I don't think we based it on Buffalo, I think we just made sure that a Bash would happen in Buffalo. I know DarthRacer and I have already talked about one or even two this year and maybe even meeting once a month with local RCNTers to bash. I thought that is what the bash was for, to meet people in your area.
I'm going to start a post for a Bash in June just to get the summer kicked off with hopefully new members coming.
Good luck with the Florida bash I'm sure it will be great and if I had extra money I'd be there.

I would be all for a Florida bash.. Boggy Creek was insane.. Of course, I didn't have a buggy at the time, to really take advantage... That was a great time...

Buffalo Bash, always a good time... Chris & his wife were great hosts... If there were another, I'd most likely attend...

Hampton Roads Bash could also be do-able....

I would like to meet with all of you!. That would be an insane bash fest. If that were to ever happen... I would be really excited to make it to that bash. All the Mods and a bunch of members. Bring em all to the bash and lets rock and roll!!!

YES! Regional Bashes!! The Buffalo ones were well supported because of the amount of members in the North East that comitted to come. I'd like to go to all of the bashes but I'm limited in vacation time, money, and the distance I can travel. There are other RCNT bashes as others have pointed out. It's just up to the members in those areas to get er done. So it looks like we could have another NE (Buffalo) Bash, a VA area Bash, a FL Bash, and a Cali Bash. Start some separate threads and get planning!!! It's never too early to plan out your vacation time for the year.
Everyone wants to attend a bash, so let's make sure everyone has the best chance to do so.

Regional bashes sounds like a good idea. I could make it to something in the NE or MW. Unfortunately I don't think I could make Florida... it would be cool but not this year. With Kim being pregnant throughout the summer I don't expect to be goin on any extended trips.

If there is enogh interest in another Orlando Boggy creek bash, I will gladly get everything set up. We would first need a date that a fair amount of members could make. But not too far down the road, it gets to be too damn hot here by April. Either that or we would have to wait until October, or November, and thats too far away for me.

Boggy Creek is typically where they have the RC Pro Series in FL. It's hard core (so I've heard). :thumbup:

I have consulted with my partner in crime. EP has taken a break from RC, but will gladly come photograph the madness.

I will start scrubbing my schedule for a potential set of dates in the Spring, and see when I might be able to host a bash.

Note, my job might prevent me from doing anything...but I am going to give it a try and see whether or not I am in country long enough.

For the West Coast crowd, I will be making a few trips to the desert in Nevada during this year. I may be able to bring some of my toys and might be able to hook up with you guys if my training schedule permits.

I think RCNT has grown a lot in the past 2 years. I think regional support is growing quick and I bet there are a lot of regional bashes that could happen. Florida is certainly ripe for the bashing. I would be very interested in coming south for a few days to check it out, although budgetary constraints might prevent that. I will be attending the ECB again if it goes off. That's only a 3 hour drive so there's no way I'd miss it.
I'd suggest just posting a thread to get an idea of who is in your area and would like to bash. I could see one in NY, one in VA, FL somewhere in the midwest like Indy or something. Texas certainly. Heck, I think there might even be enough to have a UK bash. As long as there's pictures and video afterward! Just Do It!

So Darth and scott, is Aurora Rails really going to put in another track? Bigger? I'm so there!
