I seen the episode of myth busters were the polished a turd. It's possible. The main thing is this guy is learning on something that isn't going to break the bank when it breaks. As soon as he's masters this it's time to move on young grasshopper. I get the buying the other half one lol. When I bought my revo 3.3 last month I bought my wife a e revo at the same time. Takes the attention away from what I'm spending lol. I already have a picco .26 a ofna .28 jl sitting here still in there boxes and I haven't even broken in the 3.3 yet. Too darn cold out. I'm a big rc nitro addict and aquarium enthusiast. My wife keeps telling me to find cheaper hobbies. I just told her I'm going to see a guy this weekend about a nitro helicopter. Well see if I'm in the dog house on Sunday. I'm meeting up with a guy who has 15 helis. Anyhow sorry to get sidetracked. As the saying goes. "Love the one your with" and you seem to love your rc so just enjoy it until the time comes when you have the experience and funds. The day will come. Trust me on that.

Oh, we all know if he's hooked he will break his bank--just a matter of what. ;-) I know guys into aquariums...that cost a pretty penny as well. We're actually about to buy our first. Seems pretty cool but don't need another expensive hobby.

But one day I am getting me a nitro heli. A guy in our neighborhood has one--a good one--and it is very impressive. He's running an O.S. engine. Forget the make, but the kit was about equal to a good 1/8 nitro surface kit.

I've got 359.16 into my s30, but I'm happy with it and proud, next is a little 1/16th cheap exceed for the other half then a savage at some point in the future!

but now that I think.of it I need some more gas lol, I found a place for 6gallons for 105 or something, that's what I wanna do

Don't quite know what that means but I've been into rc's since traxxas released there first model the cat. That was 25 years ago. Not sure if that comment was derogatory, sarcastic or just plain being ignorant.
