JC, I was just checkin out those pics from that track, I must say I am not impressed. It looks tiny and more geared towards staduim trucks and electrics. To me it does not look like a good track for buggys. No way will my set up work there, I set it up for a big track like Boggy. I would have to re gear it, and replace the header and pipe to run Bartow. I may take a ride up there one night and at least check it out. Man I'm bummed about Boggy, I really hope they get there problems sorted out.

the picture on the bartow site are of the old layout. It is the same size now but really tight turns and little speed from what I saw last night. 2 Monster Trucks and 1 buggy was running. I don't know who designed the last 2 layouts but they must like electric more than nitro. The President and vice president both run 1/8th scale buggy and are pretty good. And most of the time they have a pretty good sized monster truck class run there. So I'm really surprised they approved or designed such a tight track. The track really wasn't that wet last night. So maybe there is more speed on the track than was displayed while I was there. There is always Minnreg, Fort Pierce, and Mills Pond.

If its even tighter than the pics, I am definately not interested in running there. No way in hell will my set up work there. RPM already closed, Boggy now is having issues, and Bartow is just too small for 8th scale buggies. Mills pond is over 2 1/2 - 3 hours each way from me, so I really don't see that happening too often. Maybe I need to just sell the PCR, maybe get a kick ass boat, we have got a lot of places to run one of those here.

NC tear down your house and make a huge track. (I bet that would go over well with the wife) ;) Man that sucks all your places in FL are havin a hard time.

NC I was at mills for a littel bit on saturday...kid issues made me leave early...and I wasn't really preparred to run a race w/o getting soem track time in.....they changed the layout at mills to some psycho jump over a lane gap in the middle of the track.....not for the timid.....anyway I didn't get a chance to ask about a big race being held there.....I see Maxy there a lot...if he's sponsoring the race I'll find out and let ya know...other than that there's still coral springs and Yamato road........I'm going to mills tonite for some practice time......I need to burn some mass quantities of nitro.....
