I got this PCR PRO in trade and it was in rough shape. It had a bent rear center drive shaft, bent wing support and bolt, broken servo mounts, broken diff case, missing screws everywhere, the body looked like it was painted with a string mop,it was just rough. Well after putting a lot of time and a few dollars in it I think it looks pretty nice and should be ready to hit the track.

Way to go NC... Nice rebuild. It looks like you put a lot of time into it. Do you have any before Pics?

Damn Joe it is definately an awesome looking rig. Nice build!!

Holy smokes!! sweet lookign ride!
tell me more about the knuckles..never heard about using PL ones

godale, I had some I'll have to see if I can find them.

Thanks guys, a lot of hours going over this puppy with a fine tooth comb.

Don't know how well the knuckles will do, I havent even fired it yet. The wife is getting me the starter box for my birthday so I have to wait till the first, it's killing me lol.

all i can say is wow.. did you o the body?? man that looks sweet!! can't wait to get mine!! (slow ups from up north over a week shipping crap :( lol)

Nice Joe..
You had your work cut out for you rebuilding that POS!
Looks great BRO..

I use the knuckles on my TT S3 and have a spare set of wheels made up with those for my PCR. They tread pattern is good for thick dirt tracks. Pins still work best for smooth or blue groove, but in looser loams or heavier dirt (such as loose and wet) the knuckles really hook up probably due to a better bite.

They are also good for bashing and if you get the right compound (I think M compound) they last a long time.

Looks great! Are u going to run it at Boggy?

You know it! That's why I have the 086 pipe on there at the moment. That track is huge and has two very long straights. I also plan on getting an 063 for it and running in Bartow as well, which is a shorter, tighter track. But Boggy is just awesome, you ready for another Florida trip?

The people running 086 pipes on their Ws72's are loving them. I'm told with a long header and the 86 pipe the mill is just an animal!
