ok like the title said i have a few simple probs with my rc but being a newb i have no idea what to do. first off it is a hpi mt rs4. i just installed a new spur gear the other day and now when i run it if i punch the gas wont go anywhere for a few secs then take off but if i ease into the throttle it will go fine. my other problem is turning. i took apart the front section of my buggy, involving the part where the balljoints pivot back and forth. i dont know how to explain it but newayz now it barely turns back and forth not near as much as it did. any help will be appreciated

you over tightened the caps on your pillow balls thats why it doesn't turn as easily as it should. loosen them up till you have a little play and that should fix it . as for the motor not responding when punched. richen the hsn 1/8 of a turn and try it again.

ok thanks for the turning prob but as for the not going its not the hsn or lsn because it revs up just fine it just doesn't spin when i punch the throttle. i think it might of over tightened the spring and its making my clutch slip or sumthing

I assume that truck has a slipper. It's too loose. It needs to be tightened some. I don't know what the manual suggests but try tightening it down all the way, then back it off like 1/4 turn. I'm about 100% positive it's not a tuning issue. Definitly sounds like a loose slipper.

yes its a slipper clutch and I'm also a 100% sure it isnt a tuning issue. what i did was tighten the spring all the way then back off a 1/4th turn cuz i read somewhere that if your bashing that is how it needs to be but i will go ahead and tighten it all the way and i will test it later. and as for overtightening the ball joints I'm sure that is it cuz i adjusted the tire the other day cuz it seem to be point in too much. i will back it off today thanks for the help
