i do going down straights, and up the hill so the power i allways there, as the NSX seems to power better in the red.

just let it rev a bit more and youll probably find you can hang gears out much longer. its good with the nsx as you can take it to the end of the rev counter, so its easy to know where the limit is.

just try it and see.:)

on that vid i did a 1'42'XX and i hit the wall twice.

i do use traction control but it probably slows me down as it bogs down when you slide.

i just like it on so all the power is put to use and not spinning away.

ill try it tomorrow with out it, wonder if i set an even faster time?

i had a 42.95 so far. i get diminishing returns the longer i try :P ill work on it tomorow.

edit: i have traction and stuff off and the car does not have enough power to lose it. turn it off :P you actually get into some pretty cool 4 wheel slides on the 90mph "chicane" type thingy on the last turn

don't sweat it Ryan. I pulled a lap 3 seconds quicker that I could manage last night on only my second lap today. Sometimes you just need to relax and stop trying so hard. I still can't manage to grab a sub 1'43" lap

DAMN your getting close arrow.

might have to go and set a 1'40 lap for ya all to beat!

edit;

i have done just that, I've set a 1;40'454. turning off the traction really helped, and i nudged the wall a couple of times!

the 2 corners i have a bit of bother with are the first corner, and the one at the end of the back straight, i must be taking them right but i allways feel i can go through faster.

Nah Its not that I'm trying to0 hard, I can't manage manual gears yet i'm still on auto!!

Oh and my time included reversing away from a wall!

Only got GT4 10 days ago...

which corner did you crash on?

yes having it on auto will add a couple of secs to your lap.

Which ones haven't I crashed on!

But these ones hurt the most!

The 1st.
The right hander at the top of the hill.
The one at the end of the back straight.

Oh and I kept on trying to avoid the ghost car.....
 
yeah the first corner has a funky apex which I'm still working on. other than that i have most of em figured out i just can't put them together in a lap yet. the last turn is my favorite one. you can do it at ~90mph (the you slide side ways 3 feet and remain foward. its a cool effect.)


Edit: ahhh the back straight one...not the last one.. i shift down to second on the outside and cut it so the arc of the turn puts me into the s at a shallowish angle so you can floor it through the next s.

edit: ack this one is a pain. corner exit speed is key and the car has baaadd over/understeer habits. I'm at 1.43 with an UGLY lap 1.38 should be in reach

actually, that's one of my favorite cars. I feel likeit's very balanced. Anyways, I'm game! Oh crap, just remembered.. goin out of town after work tonight. Won't be able to do this one.

ok admitadly i got the figure slightly off its more like 15:30 i just set 15:46.027 with a few slight crashes
i don't mean to sound insulting but your obviously not the brightest bulb in the box as you believe that the merc can even get round the track it rolls backward down the first long hill trust me i'v tried

Mega how the hell did you do a 1:40 and touch the walls on the same lap
did you remember to set the power back to stock after you upped it to 290 or whatever

ok i still think there should be 2 classe stock and unlimited but the same car (must be buyable in gt mode) has to be used on the same track and the mormal sm tyres must be used in stock, any tyres and mods in unlimited

class: unlimited

supercharged we have found that its easier to have one class.

and no i didnt have any power increases or weight reduction, and i only nudged (scuffed) the wall coming out of a corner.

also not everyone has the proto motors car.

its not going to make much of a difference with the unlimited class because it is basically the same format (same car and track and the car has to be purchase able in gt mode) and becides not everyone has to go in the unlimited class thats why there is a stock class so anyone can take part, the unlimited class will just show who can also set a car up for a fast lap instead of going round at 130 max

and if everyone so badly wants one class how about a decent car with over 350 bhp
