it may be the skyline understeering so i have to brake more not to run into the wall and can't carry the speed up the hill

i disagree with the under 300 stock because a stock nsx with 276 could go faster than a stock classic that has 399 i think it should just be stock with SS tyres no mods

How do you get a cheat disc?

I think I've given up on trying to finish the game legit...I just want the fastest cars now....and yeah I agree 200+ MPH is where it gets fun......

sorry this may sound sarcastic
but you can get a cheat disc from a shop
some have cheats for 500+ games

quite a few cars can hit 200 with nitro eg 69 charger can get 230+

thanks...I'm a lil Video Game Illiterate in my older years...I buy the games that are over a year old (exceot tony hawk and Mortal Kombat).....
is there a specific disc I need to get? or are they labeled for dummies like me to see?
I assume EB type shops should have em .....

there isn't a specific disc but if you buy an older version it may not have gt4 on it and you may have to add gt4 manually like me (very tedious) . some i think if your ps2 is connected to the net then you can directly upload the new cheats which will use some of your mem card space

ok then fine, any car, but no racing versions has to be a buyable road car on sport soft tyres.

jus to up it abit, I've just set a 1.41.015 for you to beat, that was with the NSX again. and thats on arcade mode so i can't fiddle with the settings.

also no uping the power or reducing the weight.

Well I wouldn't call it cheating..I've played my game straight.....but I do have some cool modified cars...I just win th eraces and save the cash......also if you go to the Japan races...I think it's the Turbo series, you'll win a nissan race car that yo can sell for like 300K.....I raced that series a few times and just kept selling the car.....it seems like a waste of time but the credits I'd get from racing the series and the cash from the car seemed th equickest way to build my bankroll.....I do want to get one of those discs now because that game is just TOOO FREAKIN LONG.....LOL...I just want the badest cars to play w/ now.....

how about use nurburg as like the 'top' track and replace it with another from the world circuits but still post times for nurburg

or do you want to change it because you know you can't beat 5:58 which included 3 crashes

is it seatle reverse or forward because i'm finding it impossible to get up the hill at a decent speed in stock

how about a model T lap record for a laugh i did nurburg in 10-12 mins



i run lots of cars like that to name but a few R92, the C60, toyota gt 1,
and you can buy them or use a cheat disk if you get impatient like me under 200Mph seems kind of slow on this game

unless the model t can make it up hills (i never drove it but i highly doubt it since the mercedes can't either) i call total bs. people take 4+ hours if i remeber correctly from a diff forum to lap nurb in the mercedes so 11 minutes is bs.... heck some modern cars take 11 minutes....

I'm at 1.45.xxx right now in my stock nsx-r concept 287 hp no driving assists with the wheel. some dumpy laps. car seems a bit fat.
maybe ill try the 02 nsx

1:45.117 is my best so far.... i got sloppy and gave up.

i had never used the car, just saw it and used it.

dang mega maxx, you're freakin good bro. Good job! I was using SM tires yesterday. But that's not saying much concidering your SM time. That's crazy fast.

I'm just not crazy about those little airborn sections of the hill. Overall I don't mind it but it's just not one of my picks. But for the sake of competion and entertainment I'm fine with it. But I think this is a good way to play, pick a car, pick a track and go for it. Kinda like an IROC race. As far as I'm concerned I'll try anything that anybody else is running as long as I have access to it. I'm not givin up Mega, just got a lot to learn

its funny as I'm normally doing about 1'43 's and then i just get it bang on and get a 1'41.

its a bit of a accuracy track, when you turn into a corner its all about getting as close to the wall as poss.

and about the one car, one track, thats what i thought, but other people dont seem to understand it isnt just about top speed.

me either, I have the DFpro but with the 7mo. old it's not worth it to drag it out just to play for 15 minutes. I just went to WalMart a while back and bought a cheap little "t.v. dinner table" that I have my wheel permanently clamped to. The only problem is that because it's so light it moves around if I make real quick turns.

how did you make a vid of a lap? I assume you saved your lap but then what do you do?

I can agree w/ the comparing same car / same track scores but obviously there will be advantages to some people as it will be their track or their car.....that's all....and after running the super cars it's hard to go back down.....BUT, I'll suffer for the team...LOL....so the NSX on what track and can I use soft tires?

you can use soft tyres, but i proved it didnt make much diff

the car is Honda NSX-R '02.

the time to beat is 1'41'627.

on that vid i did a 1'42'XX and i hit the wall twice.

wow, you wind that engine waaay out past redline! maybe, that's part of my lag, I always shift right on redline or close. I always thought it was bad and would cause loss of HP over time

naaa. that shifting timing is barely noticeable. However, I was able to knock off a 1'43.871

one question.. are you guys using assists? Traction control or ASM. I don't. just curious.
