fastest stadium truck

I'm new to nitro RC, and i'm curious about what nitro stadium truck you think is the fastest?

The fastest truck, out of the box, is the Shitma, err umm Shumacher Menace. With gearing they claim 70+mph. 70 for a truck is insane, and VERY un-needed. You can't do anything worth doing going 70 in a ST unless it's strictly in a straight line.
Also, many people here who have had them question their durability.
Very few hobby stores stock parts for Shumacher, so other than mail order they can be difficult to come by locally.

Id have to agree if you want a fast high maintenance car get that Schumacher.

rustlers are fast out of the box. and any losi or assoc. with a fast engine will go fast ...

The rustler is fast out the box. But for one of the best ST would be the Schumacher menace.

I'm waiting for my Hpi rs4 nitro mt 2 to get delivered ..... it goes 47 + but if you get this youll need to make a custom coll air intake

The worlds fasstest 1/10 scale stadium truck is the 21 xt-r3e it hits 70 easily and it is an afordable price starting at 449 ready to run out of the box

rc10 gt is nasty, it goes pretty dam fast and like they said you really dont needit high speed crashes are no good, but my car boogies lemme telle ya and on its way to almost 50 mph it accelerates faster thatn you could believe very high performance car, just lettin ya now, plus i can't even pronounce the names of those other cars, and associated parts are everywhere! look theres one right behind you!..................:tank: nope thats just a tank, pretty much and rc10!

I have a menace and it isnt as fragile as some peeps say it is. anyone with common sence should know that you are going to break things and the risks just go up when your going 45+, much less 65+. the menace is my first RC and i couldnt be happier with it.

Well, any truck with the a good engine and the correct gear ratio is fast........my rc 10 gt can go 25 mph or 50 mph with my .18 team orion engine!

The XTM-Xcellerator was supposedly clocked by a few different people by their local Police departments at or around 55mph. It's a stadium truck with a .18 XTM engine.

Mine wheelies while moving at about 30 or so, just knife it and hold on heheh. it's one heck of a lot faster than I thought it was going to be. I run mine rich, not excessively, but enough to make the engine last longer. I leaned it out one night and holy $$ the thing flat hauls. I still keep it rich, its more than fast enough running rich, so I figure why lean it out.

Their customer service is excellent second to none..

The a-arm ate a spur gear do to excessive flex. They sent me 2 new spurs, and a set of rear arms after one E-mail, got here in three days, and I'm back on the road. Also, they didn't just send me replacments, but two different spurs so I could choose my gearing

Going fast is nice and most cars can be geared to go faster but going fast dont mean anything if i can't stay on the track.

You've got an excellent point. Nitrojoe. Fast without the handling just plain sucks.

To illustrate the point take your stadium truck out on a icy road, or one that is slightly covered with snow. It either

a) gets boring really fast because you can't get up to speed without doing 180's or

b) cost a lot to play that way as you are always bouncing off the nearest solid object lol

I mentioned the speed, but not the handling of the X-cellerator. Out of the box it handled like a brick. After a little fine tuning, and playing with the camber/toe it handles, and flies like a dream

if you want a fast car get a custom. Just get a very small chassis and do what you can to mount a .21 or .26 engine and tank and all then a multi speed trany and it should go pretty fast. One guy made one just like that and it went 75 mph. and as another guy said you'll probably never go that fast if you're off roading and then why use it on road the cas will get suked out way to fast so personaly i wouldnt bother unless u had a lot of $ and time.

and lykan the guy was talkin about the drivers skill not the cars handeling.

yea well i have herd that Menece truck is pert fast but other than that the gt 10, x-c, and anything with a picco, or o.s. on it can fly!!

i dont have one but picc0 4 lyfe!

I getin a x-celerater it gona be fast I'll have it by april or march neeed 120 with all suff i need to get it runnin' but cnt wait right now I have an e rustler but it will be my 1st nitro truck.
