faster than nitro?

whats a good fast electric car i run a schumacher fusion nitro clocked at like 76mph what sort of speed do these electric ones go and how much do they cost how long do they run for and how long does it take to charge. I'm sorry i sound like bit of a twat but i know absolutly nothing about these cars so treat me like a kid and explain everything thank u every1 for ur help.

At that r/c car action challenge thingie they did, they had some cars running around 140mph? if i remember correctly. I'm sure they had $1000's in their cars, and charging probably takes forever since they run so many batteries.

edit: guess only 3 people broke the 100mph mark, one guy hit 134 with a "slightly modified" ntc3, and i think the top speed was around 160, dunno what he was running though.

I know that if geared properly, an RC18 with a Mamba Comp package and a 3-cell LiPo has been clocked in the area of 80 mph. Both of electrics are faster than my nitro.

the new traxxas rustler vxl brushless is going 70+mph. Its 310 dollars. you have to buy a 3 cell 8000mah+ battery for it to reach that speed. Its around 200 dollars. Then on the charge time it takes 15minutes to hours to charge depending on wut kinda charger you have. For more info on the vxl go yo www.traxxas.com.

A friend of mine has an MGT with two Brusless motors I think its going to be just insane Plus its in a monster truck....lol..............always will love NITRO!:winnar:

Both nitro and electric have their pros and cons. I love electric for impromptu bashing sessions. I love nitro for the sound and annoying the neighbors on summer afternoons and evenings.

I like eletric because there is like no matinence. If you had 5 6 cell 2400 batteries and a 15 min. charger you can run your truck all day but you need to let in cool for 5 or 10 min.
