Hmm, weird. My Sidewinder 5700kv is going faster in reverse. The manual says to flip the wires connecting the motor and ESC together to get it to go forward if you throttle (If I throttled, it would reverse). But now, it tends to go faster in reverse. The reverse gets to top speed faster and is faster (I can tell by the sound). Any suggestions?

BTW: I know there was a thread on it, the one if you scroll down a little bit, but I couldn't find the answer.

With the wires color-matched (white-white, red-red, black-black), did you ensure the servo reversing switch on the transmitters' throttle is set to "normal"? If set to normal, flip to reverse?

How about re-calibrating the ESC? When calibrating, make sure you pull full throttle first, then brake, then neutral (when the ESC prompts)?

That's about all I can think of off the top of my head.

Well, I tried recalibrating it, it doesn't want to. It thinks I'm going reverse when I hit throttle, so I have to do reverse for it to think it's throttle. I couldn't find how to change it to reverse on the controller, it's the one that came with the Readyset version of the ZX-5.

Edit: Nevermind, I found the reverse settings switch. Thanks for the help! It worked :D.
