EZ START Problem

I have a t maxx pro .15 and the ez start doesn't always turn the engine. When the engine gets hot it seems fine. It cranks if I just tap the button but if I hold it the engine stops cranking and I just here the starter motor turning. So I have to keep tapping the button to get it started but like I said once it is hot it seems fine. Any Ideas?

Clean or replace your one way bearing. Most times, they just become munged up with old nitro fuel. Blast it out real well with nitro cleaner or da and reinstall. If that doesn't work, time for a new one.

Definately your one way bearing. As Matt said, clean er up, or get a new one. No doubt that's what it is.

Thanks you guys. I thought that might have been it I just wanted to make sure. I put it on backwards once and it made the same noise constantly.
