Yeah me two. I sold my RS4 3 SS and I am awaiting the kit before I make my on-road purchase decision. It is supposed to be a full blown compitition kit.

I think you will be waiting a while. As far as I know it won't be out until sometime in November. I have not even seen any pics of it yet, only a description on HPI's site.

Yea it works great!!! I stripped all six of my wheels and like NC did i also did the bumpers! I had to, they all chipped from those damn magnetic curbs. That Easy off is killer stuff. Easy off, hot water and my old tooth brush did the trick!! can't wait to die my wheels.

Any suggestions on what kind of die to use on them.?

I Needed 6 wheels for the set of paddles I am going to run at sand lake this weekend!!! :w00t:

That should be fun. Never ran in the sand before.

Cool post. I will have to give this a try on some rims I have. How would I go about coloring the rims once I get the crap off em? I think there was a howto post a while back but I am not getting anything back in the search.

Nc. How do you use it. I have died some jeans of mine in the washer with it. But do you just mix it in like a 5-gallon bucket or something?? And how strong(1 or 2 boxes) to do the wheels?

Thanks for the thread!!! That ws a grip of info!!!! I want to do the chrome look!! OOOOPs tooooo late my wheels are white now.

That 2-tone look is sweet!!! You could make some cool looking wheels doing that!!

Yesterday, my wife picked me up a can of heavy duty EZ-Off (yellow can) for $4 at walmart.

This morning, I had time to strip 3 pieces of ugly purple ano down to the bare metal. It works great!

If you don't have a "heat gun", a hair dryer works just fine. I also found that if you spray the piece and then run the hair dryer over it, the heat acts like a catalist and really kicks the process into overdrive. You will have to spray the piece several times, applying heat between each spraying. After you're done, use soap and water and a little elbow grease to get that black gunk off.

The pieces look dull, but that's cool with me. I'm sure I could put the buffing wheel on the dremel and make 'em shine if I wanted.
