Hi All,

Running a Kyosho FW05 with an OS 18TZ(P)T, and was wondering what the recommended Expo settings should be.

I'm using a DX3S with the factory Futaba servos.

Also on some occasions i lose the RPM telemetry reading, and recieve the message "No telemetry connection" but still reads the temp with no issues.

Can someone please advise me what i may have done wrong.

Your help is grealty appreciated.

Cheers Ribbler :)

The telemetry has a short range, I doubt you have done anything wrong.
Expo settings are for changing how fast a servo responds to input from the Tx/Rx. You can use it to smooth or speed up the throttle "punch" and reduce or add steering sensitivity. Just set it how you feel suits you best. No right or wrong.

+1 to what Scrogg said. I use Expo on my brakes and throttle...mildly, but it's all to suit YOU, so my settings might drive you crazy...and yours might drive me crazy. Just play with it to see what ya like.

Telemetry has a range of like 100-150 feet on a clear perfect sunny day kind of thing. So it's probably not broken...it's just not a very good system in large areas...
