Exhaust Seals

Can anyone tell me which other brands of exhaust seals that interchange with the ofna hyper .21 engines? Tower doesn't list any for hyper engines that I can find, but several others look like they are the same design.

If you're talkin about the little T-shaped round gasket that fits over the exhaust port into the header; Try GS Racing, OS, Associated, or any other company that sells .21-based kits.

Note that I left HPI out of the list; their gaskets are a little thicker, which means you'd probably be struggling to get the pipe on.

Any exhaust gasket rated for a .21 mill should work. I think I use Dynamite gaskets on my .21 mills. Let me know if you can't find any, I am sure I have an extra lying around, or could stop by the LHS and pick one up for ya.

OFNA makes one that's really thick. I used it with a savage header and an Omega 21 engine. The exhaust port on the engine was smaller than most and leaked badly.

Otherwise, I buy HPI's, Losi's or Associateds. The GS ones I had were a sloppy fit with the savage pipe.

Olds97, the second ones are exactly what I was looking for. It seems that tower's seach engine really sucks, as I tried every possible combination of searches, and those never came up. Gottem ordered, thanks again.

Yep, guess I was being too specific with "ofna exhaust seal" and "ofna exhaust gasket" and even "exhaust seal" ,,but search for "seal" and there they are,,lol
