What can I do to put an exhaust extension on so that it doesn't spit oil and make dirt stick to the frame. I need some kind of tubing i would imagine and aim the exhaust more to the underside of the truck, or more to the outside........whats better? anyone got pics of their mods in this situation?

Savage 21 keep in mind.

Cool thats what I was looking for.
Is there any type of material that I can make my own out of?!?!? has anyone seen or done this themselves, I know I sound like a cheap a$$ since its only a few bux to buy it.....but just wondering if its possible

You could prob use fuel line, not nitro lines, but real gas lines you could get at a auto parts place and a hose clamp. prob cost 1 or 2 dollars.

Think I might have to do that.......I will keep you posted if I do decide to make one and how/what I did to make it work.

Yep, automotive fuel line works just fine.

Here's a shot of my exhaust compared to the stock pipe. You can see the fuel line and mini hoseclamp. I just stuck the other exhaust pipe in it to take the pic.

what kind of pipe is that olds i have a ribbed hpi and I'm thinking about getting a dif one

That looks pretty simple and easy to me, I might just have to try that, or drive up to my lhs and fork out a couple of bucks. I just hate it when the chassis is full of dust and dirt because the oil from the exhaust makes everything stick to it, yuck!
