hey all, i got a crappy redcat racing volcano sv that iv had for a few months and i decided to fiddlesticks around with it and see what i can do with it. so far all i have is a cold air intake thats mounted right behind the front bumper. i want to do something with the exaust but i tried a few ideas and nothing really helped, if anything they made the car fall flat on its face. so my ? is....1) what can i do to the exhaust to get a change in speed/accelaration? and one more question...2) what else can i do to this klunker of a nitro rc car that would be dramatic/crazy? my specs are below but idk for sure what all info u all need.

No exhaust causes the engine to run way too lean as all the fuel/pressure that a pipe creates isn't there. These engines need a pipe to create a return pressure as the piston goes up or it blows the fuel/air charge out of the exhaust and it doesn't get the proper air/fuel ratio and runs way lean. Also, you loose the pressure that pushes fuel into the carb through the tank. Which also makes it run lean.

It's very ill advised to run an engine without a proper exhaust.

Please be patient with the posts here. Your posts will be answered, but usually not immediately. As Olds said, you will need to run an exhaust pipe of some kind.
