Hi everyone

So I'm new to the Nitro Rc world and just bought a Exceed Nitro MadWarrior with a .28 Motor. I'm able to start the truggy very easily with 1 pull. Before I go and break in the engine fully I noticed when I pinch my fuel line to kill the engine, my engine revs up to the point my wheels begin to race. That will last for 3 seconds roughly then the engine dies. Idle is fine other then on shut off. Would this be my LSN? I know it's to rev up a bit on shutoff but I wasn't expecting it to start racing. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Don't worry about that!..
Finish breaking your engine in ,afterwards ,tune engine ,Lsn is tuned while engine is running an warmed up!...:D

Agree with @cbaker65 ! Your main concern with break in is to follow a solid break in procedure. Make sure you've got a steady stream of smoke coming from the exhaust and that you keep your temps in safe range. Dialing in your tune should take care of the pinch rev issue after break in is complete.

Those both contain good break in advice and procedure. Very helpful and solid info.

Yeah that's normal
My t maxx does the same thing. If you want to do things easier you can put your finger on pipe. Trust me it is not as hot as you think :)

This is normal, the engine gains in revs as it is being starved for fuel when you pinch the fuel line. You can always just block the exhaust, it is quicker. :)
