I got my madbeast out last week, the carb boot was torn so i got a new one now when i start the engine it wont run unless i keep the glow starter on, and after about 45 seconds the engine starts to run away even with the throttle closed. seems to me that its leaning it self out. so i checked the carb oring and thats good. Is there crank seals in this engine? or could old nitro cause these problems.

i have put three new plugs in it inthe last couple days! I'm about ready to order a new engine

Air leak. Either around the carb, the back of the crank case or the front front of the crank case if the front bearing is old.
