Ever wonder what it would look like if a Revo running wide-open and a T-Maxx running wide-open ran head-on into each other?

Truthfully, sounded worse then the resulting carnage! The Revo is mine, the T-Maxx is my brother's, but my son was driving it (wonder what my brother will say?)

As to fault, well, I take responsiblity. Should've paid better attention to where the Maxx was...but it was cool as S*&% when they collided!

Any suggestions on Revo hop-ups, now that I have a reason! Now I just have to bide my time 'till pay day! What the hell am I gonna do all week now? :devious:

Looks like the maxx got the worst of it. The revo just got the ball popped out of the knuckle... doesn't look bad as i thought it would! The maxx just split apart at the bulks and bent crap everywhere... wow.

Yeah, the Maxx got the worst of it, but the knuckles on the Revo are cracked in half as well, so might as well look into up-grades on that!

had the same happen to me. i was stopped and a t-maxx hit me head on. he broke the bulks, an a-arm, bent a shock, broke a shock body, bent a shaft, i on the other hand, bent a shock and broke a bumper support.

It's a wonder that pushrod on the Revo didn't break. Mine broke the first heat I was in with them installed. I got hit by an out of control truck and the rod snapped right at the threads. As far as your bro, just play it off, "damage, what damage, it was running fine earlier."

Honestly, I would just repair them with the stock parts that broke.
They both did exactly what they were designed to do. If you were to upgrade to alloy parts the impact would not only transfer down line to the next weakest point but would also bend or brake the alloy parts making it more expensive to repair next time.

Beason, yeah OK you are right about that...but it's still fun to talk smack when someone starts slamming T-maxxes and I pull mine out...LOL....I've made a few people change tunes on em.....

yea.. i dont think even a savage will hold up to a hit from a rolling block of aluminum.. even though the savage is "lovingly" refered to a cinder block with wheels..

i would like to see your maxx some time. maby when i finnaly get a vacation i can go visit rcnt guys. (the wife would just LOVE that.)

seems florida, new york, and cali, would cover about 80 percent of the members lol

My T-maxx is th eone I had for sale here a few months ago....
Here's the pics from that sale....it's got servos in it now but no mill.....I'm waiting on a used RB .23 from someone who was clueless about how much power that thing has.....getting a setup for 140......when that goes in it will be sicker than it's ever been

When I first got my REVO I hit my frineds t maxx head on at full speed, It tore the whole front end off of his truck and I only broke the front bumper mount on my REVO. It was funny as he!!
