Ok, so here is the problem.
Being new to electric I have no idea what causes this, but I want to learn!

Watch this.
I am hitting full throttle, but sometimes it "lags" behind.
I am holding most of the weight of the RC18, just using the table to show what it does when it is actually pushing weight.

Now watch this.
This is full throttle, it eventually will blast WOT, but sometimes it takes forever and sometimes it will hit full throttle like it is supposed to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I have the "Starting Power" on Normal, that is the medium setting.
and the battery voltage was 7.76 just before videos.

I recognize that car :D.

The "Turbo lag" is due to the stock battery pack. It has sufficient voltage to get the motor going, but not enough of a "burst" to give the ESC the power needed for startup. Set the ESC to high-power startup, and it'll minimalize the lag. About the only way to cure that is going to either a better nimh pack or to lipo.

Thought you might;)

Ohh, ok.
It makes sense now, like I said I'm relatively new to electric( Other then a stampede that left a bad taste in my mouth because I never understood the importance of a good battery and charger.

Any ways, Thanks for your help!
I was thinking of going LiPo anyways so I guess I'll be in the market for a Lipo, charger, power supply, and a new steering servo..oops:hehe:
I love this thing..

Program the starting power to low and set the motor timing as low as possible, this might help but a nice lipo should eliminate that problem all together.
