esc programing questions?

First off, when i set the low voltage, what volt per cell do i set it at? 3.0... 3.2...3.44 ...3.what? I also set the timing and decreased the throttle punch lower on my 5200 ezrun w/3s and it runs even faster... i noticed that it is running cooler, is this normal or am i dreaming. I also found another motor a 20*42*4200, it was called a 400 can, is this comperable to a 28*35*4200 400can? Thank you all for the knowledge!

what are the 2 numbers before the kv? also i'd like to know of what you're saying you did that increased the throttle, i'm running the same setup as you and on the program card is says "throttle punch" 1-9 i didn't see much of a diffrence . however for a long time i would nail the throttle and sometimes it would take off fast and sometimes it wouldn't i reprogrammed it again and it seem to take off better now but i still get dead spots sometimes.

The 2 # before the Kv are the dimensions. Example (20mm*42mm*4200kv).The motor i just mentioned 20*42*4200 exceed 18a constant 24amax is much longer than the stock ezrun motor and torquier. I just got it from nitrorcx, and it has 2.3mm shaft. Much stronger and cooler running motor, i would highly recomend it.As for the throttle punch1-4 1being lowest and 4 being highest, at 1 it burns the tires like mad already so more punch is hard to notice IMO
