esc cuttiting out

Hi my maxx's esc keeps cutting out what are some good replacments?

Recalibrate? Make sure there isn't any thermal detection modes or low voltage detection? Can also be the radio cutting out. But if you have steering and no throttle it would be the esc more than the radio.
You can send it back to traxxas and they might send you back a new one. Only if you have the warranty I believe. I would go straight for a HW or castle esc.

When you say its cutting out, what exactly is it doing? Are there any LEDs flashing? It might not be bad.

If you're just dead set on replacing it Id put a Castle ESC in it.

I have no steering or throttle and the light doesn't blink.
This is not the first time its done it before i bougjt it from someone i know it was doing the same thing

If I was going to replace it Id probably put a Castle Mamba Monster 2 ESC in it unless you want to run sensored and then Id put the Mamba Monster X in it.

Disconnect the steering servo and see if that clears it up. If so, replace the servo. I have seen a bad servo cause similar issues.
