I was wondering if anyone knows how to change settings in the esc of a typhon 3s back to stock when your set button doesn't respond when you push and hold for 3 secs like the manual says
Maybe try this: https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/esc-factory-reset.5013/
"To reset the ESC to factory default settings connect a battery, turn on the transmitter and then turn the car on. Press and hold the set button for 4 seconds and release. The Red and Green lights will flash simultaneously to show you have reset the ESC. Switch the ESC off and factory reset is complete."

Let's take a step back further, what ESC are we talking about?
I thought all the 3S platforms used the same ESC... nope. My Vendetta 3S BLX came with a Spektrum Firma 100A ESC. I posted earlier thinking that was what you had. Now, the more I think about it, the BLX100 3S ESC is what you have in your Typhon 3S https://www.arrmaforum.com/search/385100/?q=BLX100+3S+ESC&o=relevance

Just out of curiosity, have you set the throttle trim on the transmitter to the neutral position?
The SET button is just an open/closed circuit type. I forget which wires I touched together to act as pressing the SET button.... Here is a spare switch from a Hobbywing copy ESC I just grabbed from the garage/stash:
I did a continuity test of the SET button and wires. It was the white & black wires connected to the SET button. Pressing the SET button completes the circuit. Use this info to do with whatever you want. Do you have a multimeter? I am not saying to open up your switch and test the SET button to make sure it still works... that's up to you. I don't know if your ESC is under warranty. In any case, I'd start thinking about another ESC.
You must have replied back before I edited my post. I meant transmitter throttle trim at the neutral position. I was just brainstorming, and had seen comments of others saying this, that, and the other thing fixes that ESC.
Ok I tried it again and the red flashed and the green flashed. Then just the green flashed and went off. I will find out tomorrow if it worked. I hope so. That's why my son and myself named it the red demon
