I am starting this thread in-case associated chooses not to replace my engine. I would like to know what engine would be a good choice for my GT. I want something affordable, but I would like it to have enough balls to throw a wheelie on command. I was thinking maybe an O.S. 12 cv-x or a O.S. 15 cv-x.
thanx

I was talking with a guy at the track the other day about my interest in getting a RC10 rtr. He couldn't recall the exact make but he said the OS engine that came with the rtr was the best part of the package. We spoke more and a few other guys jumped in and had nothing but great things to say about the OS engines. I have a Storm with it's factory GS .21 engine. It's a good engine but I see an OS in my future.

I'm pretty damn sure that an OS does not come stock on the rc10gt rtr. its an associated .15 pull start.
he may have been talking about one of those team built rc10gt's that are now discontinued. they came with OS engines.

as for which engine to get, i can't really tell you, but i know OS makes awesome engines.
ill let someone else come in here and talk about engines.

I have used the .12 cvr- and the .12-TR (Rear exhaust) in the GT. Either one is plenty strong enough to do the job. The .12 cv- should give you plenty of power to be be competitive on the local track.
OS makes a great engine.

O.k. if associated does not replae my engine it looks like I'll be getting an o.s. engine. I'll probably get the .12cv-x its 85bux at tower hobbies.

I just sent my engine to associated about 5 days ago and they have not emailed me or called back to tell me what the problem was I got a conformation of delivery slip but no email or call. Starting to get worried dun...dun...dun.
