i have a revo 3.3 the engine is only a week old but i can not get it to prime buy holding the stinger.my air lines and gas tank are new also and air tight.it does it no matter what the tune is also. so what could it be any help would be great!

do you have a fuel filter in the line?

try blowing air into the line going to the tank see if the in tank filter is clogged

^ Yeah thats possible, if thats not the case it could be a line thats damaged and leaking. Or even worse you could have cracked the gas cap nipple where the fuel line connects to the top half. That happened to my savage some how and it would be hard to start and i didnt notice it till i flipped it and saw gas all over my gas tank. i would check those things aswell.

neither one because i changed the gas tank and have new fuel lines.

sounds like you have a bad air leak around your carb. I would seal the carb neck and needle's and check the fuel line for a crack around the neck where it goes in. Even new fuel line may have a crack where it goes into either the tank or carb. Sometimes when your putting the fuel line on you may tear it a little and not know it.

try disconecting the fuel line that goes to the carb from the carb hold finger over stinger and try and start (turn over the motor pull the pullstart ( will take a few pulls to see gas moveing in the line ) or ez start whatever you have ) if no fuel comes out then the problem is pressure line or somewhere in the tank. i know you said only a week old but new can be bad .

hope this helps

i disconected the line and it does prime when it is not hooked up to the engine. i just sealed the carb and it still does not prime when on the carb.

i have tried everything that everyone has posted and still having the same problem. You guys have been great but is there anything else it could be?the engine still has great compresion i just don't get it.

try blowing directly in the hose that goes to the carb while having the throttle fully open ....if air passes , then fuel should pass to ...if thats good , try putting a few drops of fuel directly in the carb and try to start it and see if it will prime itself when it starts

well i think i have it.there where two silver screws on the hsn side that i never cleaned so i cleaned it again and put it together and it primes now so i will let you know after i run it later.THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!

its still is not right does it have to be the carb or could it be something else?it runs but i can't keep it running.

new glow plug ??? ...at least it runs now ...might be just a tuning issue .....is the break in done ?? ..my 3.3 will not run right until it hits at least 260°f

mine seems to run better around that also.may have alot to do with the tune also mine has not been ran all that muchonly about a gall.in the last 3 years
