Engine Trouble! Added pic

I am having a hard time keeping my engine running. It will run fine for a little will, and die. It seems to be hot; it smokes from the exhaust man. If I turn it up it chokes down if I turn it in the RPM rev. very high can anyone help? I am using Bitch's Brew 10% Fuel. Mix 1/2 & 1/2. Also this is a Thunder Tiger AE. Engine for my 10 GT. (Pull start.) Alcohol

ur post is a little confusing. try to type in complete sentences so that we may better understand your question.

I might have some ideas, but need you to clarify your post please.

Bitch's Brew mix 1/2 and 1/2??? Huh??? Why 10%??? Kinda confusing... How much are you richening or leaning the HSN??? I would go 1/8 of a turn, run it for a few minutes, come back and check the temps again..

Bitches brew is the fuel I use. 1/2 & 1/2 is oil to meth. Mix. 10% is Nitromethane mix. Well I found the problem, Manifold is loose tightened it up know, Idling well

not sure what u are trying to say, but i can promise this is wrong.

first - if u are mixing anything yourself, period, that is your problem - stick to store bought fuel such as red alert, blue thunder, or odonnell

second - there is no regular alchohol in RC fuel. it is methynol alchohol..

finally - the 10% designation on most fuels is the Nitromethane content percentage, not the "alcohol mix"

here is the fuel!

i would strongly recommend u stop using that fuel. anything that is designated as a plane fuel and car fuel and boat fuel, shouldnt be trusted. all require vastly different types of lubricants

go pick yourself up a bottle of Dynamite Blue Thunder or Odonnel Race fuel. Byron's Originals Race Formula is also a good brand.

Finally -step up to 20% nitro, once u retune the engine, it will run cooler.

I do not understand this is what my LHS gave me. HE said this would work wonders; do to its high oil content.

I totally agree with NA, in recommending you NOT use that fuel. I like Odonnel or Trinity Monster, and also as NA mentioned step up to 20% nitro.

Here is my take. I use RC Car fuel for my cars. This subeject has been discussed every which way on the net and is so debateable. Some RC Car owners swear by airplane fuel, BUT engine manufacturers will always state to use fuel specifically formulated for RC CARS. Now there is a big price difference between Airplane fuel and car fuel and that is why I think a lot of people use it on their cars, but I would not. I only use what is specifically designed for the application. FastEddy hit that nail on the head in thge Marvel Mystery oil as ARO thread

I think they should change the name to Bitch's Brew. Has a nice ring to it!

Yes, please do your engine a favor and get some fuel made for car engines. The fuels for cars has a higher content of synthetic oil as opposed to castor and will not gum up your engine like castor will over time.
