Well, my pullstart was taken off, and what do i find but the spring broke at the center section where it goes into the hole. Tough luck, huh? So my dad went looking around the garage for something to make a starter out of, he found a dish that we used to feed our hamster (died a decade ago i think), and he also had a powerful motor with a half-inch diameter bolt that was at least a foot and a half long. he drilled a half-inch hole in the dish, then we bolted it on, but we were afraid it would be too fast. So my dad took one of his drill's buffer bits (looks like a dremel saw, with the screw in the shaft) took the buffer section off, and put the dish on. We then put the car on the makeshift starterbox, it was able to spin the flywheel, but we could never get it started, but it was pretty clever. i will see if i can post pics soon.
Also when i can run it, my next-door neighbor has not repaved her driveway, and it's just gravel, and very cracked pavement. so one time i crashed my SS into her driveway, set it upright, and had my dad snap a few pictures of my car leaving the driveway. even though it's hard to keep it straight (gravel), there's a nice jump at the end going to the road, and dad got a pretty nice airborne shot!
Anyone want to see an airborne RS4 3?
