I have a nitro car and when I try to go its it sluggish but then goes, but when I reach top speed it spits and sputters?? Not sure what car I have but I purchased it on ebay and the item number is 150202161018 if that helps any. I am totally clueless when it comes to working on this. I can work on full size vehicles all day long but this is new to me. I dont know if it is broke in already or not but I took it to the LHS and they tuned it and started it and ran the first couple tanks through it, then I ran probablly another 10 or so and it started running rough and idled up so I ideled it down by the remote. Hope that wasn't wrong but I didnt want it to rev too high. Any help would be appreaciated.

Those cars on Ebay (Non manufacturer cars) are the hardest to help with, because we wouldn't know if it was the engine or something else. Are all the needles set to the factory settings? Have you touched anything the LHS did to it?

I have no idea what the factory settings are, and no I havent touched anything. Guess it would be to my best intrest to take it back to the LHS.

well went to the LHS today to drop my car off for them to tune and he done everything except tell me that he didnt want to work on it. Any Ideas what I can do to try to fix it?

thats what I got from the way he acted. but like I said he done everything except tell me that. He dont even stay at the Shop much. He is gone most of the day. What makes it bad is thats the only one here. The next closest one is about a hour and a half away.

It's strictly a tuning issue. Just because he tuned it once doesn't mean it never needs to be tuned again. Outside temperature and humidity require an adjustment in tuning. A dirty air filter makes it run bad. These engines need a little tweeking almost every time they run.

Check this thread, and print out the .PDF file and keep it with you.

I already have that in my box thanks. I have resolved the issue it was a tuning issue. Thank You all for the help.
