My T-maxx and nitro rustler have been shutting off right after I start them lately. I'm thinking that it could be air filter got dirty again, but anyone else know of a different solution??

maybe turn up the idle a little bit.

air filter maitinence is very important, you should clean it after every hour of running. it will help your motor last longer.

My Revo starts up great but I also take the time to maintain the engine and its related parts.Clean all exterior surfaces best you can and blow all out with air.I don't let any fuel sit in the tank and I like to remove all the fuel from the crank case. When that is done, I drop some aro oil in the Piston and Sleeve as well as down the carbuertor. I leave the piston to sit at BDC. I also like to remove the air filter when not in use. I clean the air filter assembly and re oil the foam.

Check your plug to make sure it is not fouled.

The most ideal way to start your ride is to prime them. With the ignitor OFF, plug your exhaust tip ,Run your EZ Start till you see fuel at the carb. Once there, attach your charged ignitor and start it. I can get my Revo to start everytime.

Your LSN could also be off. As I always suggest when there is a tuning problem - try resetting your carb to break-in settings and retuning. Sometimes I find that I just need to give it a bit of throttle and hold it until the engine warms up a tad. Could be overly rich, could be too lean. Reset the carb and go from there. And as suggested, turn up the idle - gap should be between .5 and 1mm - and be sure your glow plug is good. Pull it and put it on your igniter. If it doesn't glow almost white hot then it's wearing out.
