Engine cooling

I was thinking.........what if you could cool your engine with the fuel that is running to your engine by taking copper tubing and a head with widely spaced fins and run the copper tubing through it and hook up the fuel from the nitro tank hook it up to the copper tube the hook it up to the carb????





(Hint Hint i no longer have a nitro car but is still into the forms)

Sounds like a fire hazard. You'd also be sending hot fuel to the carb, which may affect tuning or how the engine runs. A good tune is all you need to stay in the right temp range.
