I ordered bearing listed specific for my engine Item number: 260366782799 on Ebay from http://myworld.ebay.com/2rideornot2ride/
Well I get and they are wrong needed sealed front bearing got shielded in place needed shielded rear/internal got sealed in its place.
Well thinking that the seller knew best I installed.
Now my front bearing LEAKS way worse than the one I was replacing.
Which sucks bad cause it took me 2 weeks of frustration and replacing and sealing parts up to figure out what problem was.

Now what? other than being made about it? I want my rig running NOW!!
I can see leaving the sealed bearing in place but can I SAFELY remove the front bearing without heating so not to ruin other bearing? Or say scratch the sealed rear/internal bearing and pop them both out?

I wish it was a way to personally bad mouth the idiot who sold to me cause I did Email before I ordered asking if would work with no response for a week but the item was listed for my application so I ordered, bad mistake.
I just looked and now "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale.".
The price was too good to be true 10.81 shipped for a normally 30.00 bearing set.
Used my money stretch desire against me for their personal gain
I hope that punk a$$ $10.81 cost them way more some where down the line

Just work it out with the seller. If they like selling on eBay, they will usually work with you on things. I have gotten wrong items as well. It sucks, but it's part of ordering stuff you can't physically see before you pay for it. eBay has changed a LOT of their seller feedback system now where if they get negative feedback....it costs them more to sell on eBay so most of them want you to be happy in the end.

It was you that assumed the seller new best after you knew they were the wrong bearings. Nobody's perfect. Get a hold of the seller and maybe they'll work something out with ya. If not, tough s---. Should've sent them back as soon as you realized they were wrong. Whatever you do, don't ruin the sellers rep because you were in a hurry.

yea I pretty much sucked it up, though pee'd off.
and your right I probably could eventually get it worked out but they had no returns on ad, I believe, its cool. yea it was purely my mistake making the ad "for Traxxas 3.3"

I seen same bearings again different guy this time selling for the trx 2.5r maybe they work with its cone some how I'm trying to see so maybe there is use in them for me.

Jus gots to b more careful from now on I guess.

Yea I got it right now wish I'd just broke down and paid the lhs now but I did vowel to never give that idiot my $ ever again.
any way thanks for the response
FAIR WARNING to all the guy still lists those bearing for the application and there is no way they will work - sealed rear bearing will stop start shaft from getting lube and shielded front bearing will not let engine seal

there was no returns as part of listing and yes I was in a hurry.
But does that give the right to beat me out of my money?
If you listed a hpi .15 for sell and actually sent out to the bidder a trx .15 would that be fair?
I doubt it, the bidder would of been counting on that hpi .15, right?
So how is it any different sending me something that was listed for a specific application that does not work in the listed application?
It is not about ruining someones ebay rep they done that on their own with me and anyone else before or after me. Either by not knowing what they are selling and/or by listing wrong on purpose to fraudulently beat people out of money.
Which ever is the case they should just list actual description for item to be sent and leave it up to bidder to see if it works or not. Do not list for an intended application just to attract sells from a particular group of buyers KNOWING or NOT whether the item will or will not work in intended application.
Example- ".15 rc nitro engine for auction" is more honest than sending the trx in place of the hpi whether it is honestly not knowing what you are selling or cause you may change your mind and send that ole trx .15 cause you can't let go of that hpi.
