I'm thinking about getting the element enduro trailrunner. In the box you get attachments to add onto the car but you need a drill and I don't have one. Would you be able to use a body reamer to put holes in the body instead of a drill to put these attachments on?

Do they attach to the body or the frame? If the body, you could use the reamer but getting yourself a drill would be a well spent investment in my opinion.

They attach to the body but I might get a drill when I have enough money but I don't have enough cash because I'm 17 but it was my birthday yesterday but I'm spending most of my money on the car aha.

Body reamer should work fine, go slow and check your holes as you go.

I would suggest adding a Dremel Rotary Tool to your wish list. They are very handy to have in this hobby. I used mine to drill out the holes. They are also good for grinding, cutting, polishing. lots of uses for rc related stuff.

Trail Runner is a nice rig. Here is a few shots of mine.

That is a thing of beauty! Are they reliable?

So far I haven't had any problems, I kind of baby the trail runner though. My other Element Crawler (Sendero HD) is the one I am rough on, and so far I've only had to replace a Servo, all the other upgrades have been just because. ;)

Here is the Sendero HD.

I've been pretty happy with Element's Crawlers. :thumbs-up: I have an Ecto that's still in progress.
