I have a emaxx 16.8 that I converted to mmm brusless. When looking for parts, cages, ect I find that some parts fit the emaxx but not the brushless... Whats the deal is the emaxx that comes brushless longer or something? When I bought mine it said it was "brushless ready" so I thought it was the same truck besides motor and esc. Any Ideas

I believe the trucks are the same. They are both the exact same in size and parts except for the motor setups. Unless I'm mistaken, someone will fill you in on any other differences. Oh, and where are you looking for parts?

You need to find parts for the 16.8 version which IS longer than the previous E-Maxx. Parts between the new brushless are the same as the 16.8 version.

WellI was looking at a rc solutions cage for a 16.8 and it says it will not fit the brusless 3908. Isnt that essentially what I have?

Easiest way to figure it out would be to go to www.traxxas.com and open up exploded views of both trucks and see if the part numbers are the same, then you will know for sure.

Ok so I did checking for you...the 16.8v (the 3903) is 518mm long and 417mm wide. The newer Brushless E-Maxx (the 3908) is 571mm long and 419mm wide. You have a 3903....regardless of it now being brushless converted it is still the 3903 truck. So the cage you were looking at should fit no problems. But what is funny is they have the SAME wheelbase....I think they just use the length of the stock wheelie bar as the extra length. But either way, what you were looking at will fit.
