I think you should definitely do that build; I would love to see how you rate the performance.

I'll add it to the build list. We have a few kits showing up this week for build, and hopefully once those are complete we can get to the Element Fox kit. Might drag our feet a bit and see if Element drops the kit price for a Black Friday special. Designing the sliders for the Zuul body will probably take a bit of trial and error, but I think a proper set of sliders will really look sharp. We picked up a new Formlabs liquid 3D printer and the parts off of it have been pretty darn good, so a set of sliders from their Tough 2000 material sounds like just the ticket.

Go to the BING app. In middle bottom click Co-Pilot. Use GPT-4
Type in a request. ie;
Find me an image of a 1/8 racing buggy. It'll work. Kinda like chat bots. It'll find images & give you a description of the findings. Then say like, make me an image of a 1/8 racing RC buggy. 4 should start to render. Then: make it on a race track. Or make it jumping. Or add dirt coming off the tires. Suggestions of similar stuff will appear at the bottom. Then click the image you like. Press download. Now it's in your phone.

They sure are proud of the zuul bodies. The HD’s as well….. sheesh.

@MVRCA have you ever tried swapping the stock element chassis for a vs4-10 chassis?
Don’t even ask “why would you do that” because I will just say it’s for “science” 😆

No, oddly we don't have many extra chassis laying around from factory units. We have our in-house designed carbon chassis for builds, but they change the personality of the truck so much that it's hard to build a "normal" feeling truck from them. Element's have a unique feel to them, so I'm curious as to if this Fox kit will feel and drive like a tuned Element, or have the personality of just another carbon chassis crawler.

What I am thinking is installing a set of Vanquish straight axles and selling off the Element portal axles. I like them more than the Element axles, and I don't have any desire to add another portal truck to the fleet ( already got another portal going into build on Monday ). I think a sleek and nimble straight axle Element sounds appealing.
