i have a t-maxx 2.5 with a 3.3 engine in it i was wondering if i took the front diff out if it would hurt the engine any dose any one know?

I really don't see where it would hurt the engine in any way. I don't know how the trans will respond but you can liken it to taking a full-time four wheel drive truck and removing the front drive shaft... A lot less drag... Enjoy your two wheel drive Tmaxx!

i just did not want to fry my bran new engine but wanted to put my truck on a wheelie diet.lol

If you disconnest the front drivetrain linkage you will then have a Sport-Maxx. I've thought about doing that as well. As my T-Maxx engine is pretty worn and in need of a non-leaking carb.

took a little while but got it broke in today it runs awsome . will flip the truck over backwards with wheelie bar on truck could not be happier with the 3.3
