Ok well its abot 3:00 in Oregon in the morning and iam bored as heck and I just want to know what a good starter radio i want o get a better radio than the stock TQ3. I want the Futuba 3PK but I started reading the manual and it looked WAY over my head. so I was just wondering what would be a good radio that you can program and so on. When I was reading the manual for the 3pk they said that you should have ALL digital servos well i only have one so i guess its out of the question unless u want a fire and well that would bee COOL but very bad so is there a good radio for me? Well iam tired so i think ill go back to sleep:sleeping: Ohh and Mc I swear to god if you say anything about me sleeping I will kick your arse!

If you get the FUTJ33 PCM model you dont have to run digital servos. Only the HRS system requires them. You might think this radio is over your head, BUT, once you get it and work with it the first day, you will wonder how you lived without it. Yes, they are pricey as everything Futaba is. But, this is the only radio I will run now. VERY VERY VERY easy to program and wicked kickass to use!

The other GREAT option, synth, less expensive too, is the JR MXS3. For around 200 bucks it can't be beat. I think I may have the model number wrong.....

Woodie! What is the model # ????????

I'm a fan of the Airtronics M-8
If you look at all the race winners 90% use it for good reason.
It is easy to program and feels real good in your hand.

Any of the leading radios will be a good choice.

I'm with Eddy...I love the way a nice one feels in your hand.....what? ohh were talking about raidos? Oops :jet:

The Futaba 3pk is awesome! You have one Çh®i§tiªñ? Damn. This radio is bad ass. I love the design and the features are awesom.

I own the JR XS3. It also is capable of taking advantage of HRS like the 3pk. It has a lot of features, but is a little harder to adjust compaired to other radios. Great buy! I dont think I will buy another radio for a long time.

If you can throw down the duckets and dont mind then by all means go for it! I have NO regrets about getting it. The JR XS3 though is also a GREAT deal for the money. If I didnt already have the 3pk I would have gone with the XS3. But now that I have it, I wont turn back. Its absolutely AWESOME! I can program a car, out of the box, in less than 5 minutes!!! This includes trim, end point adjustments, dual rate, servo speed, failsafe programming, anti lock brakes and idle up. Oh, and model name itself. It stores 10 and can go up to I think 30 with an additional CAMPAC module.

Foo you craaaazy.

Damn I would love one of those.

But is it synthisized? huh? well? huh? thought so. ;)

*gasp*

350 bucks for a friggin transmitter????

GOO!!!

I thought 100 was too much. Of course, I'm far from a real racer, I prefer bashing.

KMN...there aren't many great radios under 100 bucks out there. Airtronics makes a good feeling one-Blazer Sport for cheap but..other than that...150 is a good price.
