Hi everyone : Me & my buddy where out running the other day & he was running his E-Maxx & complaining how he wished it was more faster. He has been saying he might try to sell his MAXX but he like's it alot.. I told him WHY don't he just put 2 brushless motors in the RIG.. He said it's not possable to do that " I said WHY not you just need to get 2 brushless motors of your choice & an ESC that can handle 2 Motors... He thinks it will be too expensive to convert I also said he can possably do 1 big KV Brushless motor... Has anyone else tried a convert like this with an E-MAXX Any input would help so I can spread the word to him... Thanks Guy's

You only need one brushless combo. Put a mamba monster in it and be done with it. The only cost to convert it is buying the motor/esc combo. And to answer your question yes there are insane people on this site (me being one) who have done extreme twin brush less conversions. Its just too much so stick with a single. If he goes mamba monster you won't be able to slap the smile off his face. You can use a different combo just make sure its 1/8the scale. A vxl setup for example isn't big enough

Also depending on what model emaxx it is he may need to upgrade the drive train. The 3903 is brushless ready

+1 on the Mamba Monster. If it's good enough for Traxxas to include on their larger brushless edition trucks it should be good enough for an upgrade. As far as an esc that can handle dual B/L motors, I've never heard of one for a truck that size.

I believe if you stick a single mamba system on it with 4s lipos its gonna be quite fast enough to shred tires.

4s is plenty of power for speed. 6s is uncontrollable, it's like a mERV on 3s: it'll land on the lid almost every time you give it a bit too much throttle (Don't ask how I know; it was a painful learning curve).

Thanks Guy's I will tell him when we are out running today.. Thanks for the Help..

castle creations is having a garage sale and he could pick the mamba monster up for 215. look at greywolfs post and there is a link. but if he wants water proof then check ebay. i think it can be had around 290.
