I could have never justified the money to buy an electric truck. (most of you know I'm hard-core nitro) But after receiving the Flux version in a trade all I can say is...I'm impressed. I never really give much thought to the BL systems in a 1/10 scale truck, or any other 1/10 vehicles. My rc18mt is brushless but it's a pint size truck so I expected alot from it, and it delivered without fail.

The Firestorm is really amazing. I've run about 5 packs through it now and its held up to everything i've thrown at it...jump, tumbles, cartwheels, clipping trees, etc. (normal bashing crap..lol)

I'm running a 2S 5000mAh Venom li-po in it and I am really enjoying the speed and performance without the hassle of the tuning of nitro...or the mess it makes..lol Wheelies are not a problem with this thing. 1/3 throttle to WOT stands it straight on its tail, even after slipper adjustments. Speed is equal to an RC10GT I guess. (been awhile since i've really run anything)

Sorry to sound like a newb guys but i am very surprised and pleased with this truck. May have to re-think all I've thought about electrics...LOL

For the 3 bills it takes to buy a new one...I think it's well worth it.

OK, time to go play some more...:p: (right after I re-glue the rear tires back on..lol) CYAZ!!

Yep, it's a wonderful RC, isn't it? It's different than the popular RC's that are made to look like real pickups - these are made for speed and handling, NOT for looks and durability.

Get used to gluing your tires often.

my buddy had a flux with 2S lipo and upgraded spur (for higher top speed). It was too fast for his own good. Don't get me wrong, it took many months of abuse, high speed backflips, 50 mph crashes, etc etc. But one day he did a top speed run with no body and hit a tree just right, and caused over $200 in damage. ESC broken, flux motor broken, steering servo broken, body broken in half, front end needs about 6 or 7 parts, two broken arms, the list goes on. It's beyond salvage title - this thing needs a title of destruction.

great pictures. Those things are a blast. The gears in the rear end are a little weak but they still hold up to alot before breaking. This was with a mamba max-6900 setup on 2S.

Sweet pics....even the busted gears...lol

After glueing the rears I went back out with a freshly charged 2s....After about 3 minutes, I snapped the stub axle on the rear...lol....nice clean break....time to upgrade...hehe

While waiting on the parts to arrive, I decided to jerk the BL out of it and put it in my Pedey....WOOHOO! I like it in the Pede more so than the Firestorm......guess I'll have to order up another BL system...LOL

I love that first pic. It almost looks like a pic that should've been in a mag. ;)
